North Korea Threatens Destruction of South Korea
At the United Nation's conference on disarment last Tuesday, North Korea threatened South Korea with "final destruction". After testing nuclear bombs last week, South Korea warned that might strike the Northern state if they were in danger of attack, which apparently irritated them. "As the saying goes, a new-born puppy knows no fear of a tiger. South Korea's erratic behavior would only herald it's final destruction," Said Jon Yong Ryong, North Korea's diplomat, at the UN meeting. North Korea claims that their nuclear weapons are to be used only for self defense against the US's hostility, which they will forced to be used if the US continues with a violent approach.

World's Largest Crocodile Dies ):
Lolong was over 20 feet long and weighed one ton when he was found floating belly up in the pond of an ecotourism park in Manilla, Phillipines. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, he held the world record for the world's largest captive alligator. How this one ton crocodile was brought into captivity is hard to imagine. It took the strength of 100 people to pull him from a trap that villagers had placed in a creek to capture him. Lolong had been blamed for the death of a child and a fisherman who went missing on the creek, as well as being blamed for attacking and killing many water buffaloes who stopped at the creek for a drink. After it was captured, the massive crocodile was kept in captivity because of the tourism it attracted to the otherwise unknown town. Lolong's death is being mourned in the Phillipines, however he won't need to be missed because he is being preserved and kept in a museum in order to maintain the tourism he attracted.

Competitive Eater Kobayashi Finishes Pizza in 60 Seconds
The Superbowl left us with many memorable moments- broken kickoff records, 30 minute power outages, all that fun stuff. But a worthy moment went unmentioned on national television when Takeru Kobayashi, a competitive eater known for his hot dog eating, finished a 12 inch pizza in under 60 seconds. Kobayashi was booked for the Superbowl party through his booking agency, and was payed a well-earned $3,250 for the heartfelt pizza-consuming performance. This record-breaking achievement demonstrates Kobayashi's true dedication too his competitive eating career. He beat his previous world record of finishing a pizza in 1 minute and 9.36 seconds, however the event was unofficial so doesn't count as a world record. After the pizza eating glory, Kobayashi and the bros at the Superbowl party had a beer chugging contest that unfortunately left his pizza achievement shadowed by defeat.

Escape Attempt= Stealing an Ambulance, Two Horses, and a Car
Matthew Todd was intoxicated when he crashed his car in Alabama last Friday. He was arrested for a DUI and taken to a hospital. There, he convinced hospital workers to let him leave the waiting room for a cigarette, and his escape attempt began. Matthew Todd jumped into an ambulance for a quick escape, but then got the vehicle stuck at the end of Bernard Street according to Police Chief Todd Addams. Matthew left the ambulance and entered a barn, where he unsuccessfully tried to saddle two horses. 24 year old Matthew Todd then stole another car and got away. He returned to the hospital the next day after the injuries from his original crash had started bleeding. There he was recognized to be the drunken auto-thief from the night before, and was arrested.
