World's Strongest Redneck Saves Kitten from a Can

Steve McGranahan, the self-proclaimed "World's Strongest Redneck" was driving around one day when he somehow noticed a little kitten on the side of the road with it's head stuck in a can. Being the kind, strong redneck man he is, Steve didn't hesitate to pull over and save the poor animal from it's dark fate. The redneck noted that the cat had been licking something, probably trying to consume the final remains of cat food from the Special Kitty cat food can. Thanks to Steve's heroic efforts, the kitty is "all happy now", and was succesfuly able to remove it's head from the can. "That's what the world's strongest redneck does," Steve McGranahan says in his video, "runs around savin' kitties... Bagghhhhhhhh."

Woman's nose bitten off by dog, Husband bites dog back

All was normal in Madrid, Iowa, as a married couple, Careen Henry and Laine Henry were walking their pet beagle through their neighborhood- until a vicious dog attacked them. The attacking dog was a 50 pound Labrador mix. It ran from a neighbors yard and brutally attacked the couple's beagle. As the couple tried to intervene in the dog fight and save their poor beagle, the stray dog began to attack the Iowa woman, Careen, apparently nearly tearing off her arm and severely injured her nose. According to Careen, her husband Laine tried to fight off the vicious stray dog by biting it back. There are no reports of how successful Laine's attempt was.

Giant Sweet Potato Grown in Garden of a Gardener

Joao Varela has a pasiion and a talent for growing plants. Just last week, Joao harvested a 20 pound sweet potato from the garden in his own backyard. This hefty potato is over 3 feet long. The gardener's explenation for this massive spud was that "The soil here is strong". A technical agronomis, however, had a different explanation. He said that the soil, climate, or fertilization could not have formed this specimen, but that the sweet potato probably had cancer. It's cells had faster development, probably caused by a fungus or virus. Joao was talented enough to grow this huge sweet potato, but unfortunatly wasn't talented enough to make the world record. The world's largest sweet potato was harvested in Spain in 2004, weighing 81 pounds AND 9 ounces.

Monster Whirlpool Swallowing Everything

Near the banks of the Daugava River in Dviete, Latvia, a monstrous world pool was filmed devouring all that nears it. Most whirlpools form when two fast moving currents meet, flowing against eachother in opposite directions. This whirlpool, however, was formed when water from the swollen river began flowing into an inlet upstream. As it flowed on the upstream side of a bridge, everything sucked in- massive ice chunks, plants, and other floating debris- everything was funneled under the road which the spectators are standing on in this video. Janis Astics, who took the footage, described that the powerful whirlpool is "swallowing everything dragged towards its direction".

Two Headed Lamb Born in Ghana

A completely normal lamb was born on a Monday afternoon near Tarkwa, Ghana. Completely normal, that is, except for the multiple faces protruding from the lamb's neck. There aren't many details known about this two-headed lamb on a personal level, but Todd Ray from the AMC series "Freakshow" sure is interested in it. He doesn't know if the goat is still alive or not, but he is still interested and concerned for the animal. He says "People often try to feed both mouths, but one may not have a functioning throat or it may have an obstruction". Thankyou Ray, thank you. Ray proudly holds the largest collection of two-headed animals in the world, including a two-headed chicken, two-headed goat, and two six-legged two-headed Bearded Lizards.

New Rocket Fuel

NASA, and many individuals, wan to put man on mars. A newly proposed rocket fuel could make this trip possible. A team at the University of Washington is bein funded by the space exploration program to build a fusion engine, which could get humans to Mars in as little as 30 days. This could make current forms of space power obsolete, seeing as it took 8 months to send the mars rover Curiosity to Mars using expensive fuel powered rockets. The proposed Fusion Driven Rocket uses magnetism to compress aluminum or lithium bands  around a fuel pellet. This initiates fusion, which forces the propellant mass out at 30 kilometers per second. This FDR is incredibly more efficient than current rocket fuel, and could be completely powered by solar power. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that the US government will throw any money towards this project, but advancements will be made in time.

North Korea reads threatening April Fools Blogs, Takes them seriously

North Korean spies were making their usual rounds of investigating US internet usage when they came across several blogs involving the destruction of North Korea. These blogs were written by high schoolers of a small school in Northeast Wisconsin. The spies immediately informed their leader, Kim Jong-un, of the high schools plotting to violently attack an defeat their country. They reported that the blogs were suspected to hold information from a military database, which told of the US's plans for attacking North Korea (a mission predicted to fail). Kim Jong-un ordered his military to take action immediately, heightening their defenses and preparing for battle. Though they haven't found further evidence of this potential attack, they are determined to not be caught off guard. As they wait for the US to make the first move, North Korea continues to prepare for battle, making sure to make ready any forces they might need to take down these threatening Wisconsin "high schoolers".

Scottis Gov Approves Wind Farm opposed by Donald Trump

The Scottish government has approved the plans for an experimental offshore wind farm to be built near Aberdeen, despite the threat's from Donald Trump against the turbines. This potential source of renewable offshore energy is a huge opportunity for Scotland. The project is capable of generating 100MW of power, which is enough to provide for half of Aberdeen's homes. The experiment could also lead to major advancements in renewable energy. Donald Trump is angered that the offshore turbines will ruin the view from his resort, which overlooks the North Sea several kilometers North of the wind farm site. The billionaire threatened to attack the wind turbine project in court, using "every legal means" to defeat it.

Rare Whale Bones Unearthed

A groundbreaking discovery was made when scientists exploring the Arctic came across a rare find. The researches found at least nine new species of deep-sea organisms and a whale skeleton on the sea floor, using a remote operated vehicle. Only five other natural whale skeletons have ever been discovered worldwide, making these bones quite valuable. The researchers believe the skeleton to have belonged to a Minkh Whale, and is possibly several decades old. The skeleton was found unearthed in a mile deep crater beneath the ocean's surface. Three of the bones were collected and shipped to the UK to be analyzed by the Natural History Museum and the British Antarctic Survey.

London's First Kitty Cafe

Drinking warm coffee in a nice cafe, and snuggling with cats- two of the greatest pass times commonly known to internetters. Now, the cats and the cafe ideas have been combined in the plans of making the first "kitty cafe" in London. For this, London can thank the internet. When Lauren Pears had the idea to open her Lady Dina's Cat Emporium, she posted a video with details of the cafe to a crowdfunding website, Indiegogo, asking people to donate to the cause. The support for the Kitty Cafe was strong, raising 108,000 pounds toward the subject. Lady Dina's Cat Emporium should open in May, and will be filled with cats from the local animal shelter. Over 300 people have already sent in job applications.

what sound is worth

A wise person once said that a picture is worth a thousand words. The noise this dog makes must be worth at least 450-500 more words, therefore I have by far surpassed my blogging requirements. You're welcome.

North Korea Threatens Destruction of South Korea

At the United Nation's conference on disarment last Tuesday, North Korea threatened South Korea with "final destruction". After testing nuclear bombs last week, South Korea warned that might strike the Northern state if they were in danger of attack, which apparently irritated them. "As the saying goes, a new-born puppy knows no fear of a tiger. South Korea's erratic behavior would only herald it's final destruction," Said Jon Yong Ryong, North Korea's diplomat, at the UN meeting. North Korea claims that their nuclear weapons are to be used only for self defense against the US's hostility, which they will forced to be used if the US continues with a violent approach.

World's Largest Crocodile Dies ):

Lolong was over 20 feet long and weighed one ton when he was found floating belly up in the pond of an ecotourism park in Manilla, Phillipines. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, he held the world record for the world's largest captive alligator. How this one ton crocodile was brought into captivity is hard to imagine. It took the strength of 100 people to pull him from a trap that villagers had placed in a creek to capture him. Lolong had been blamed for the  death of a child and a fisherman who went missing on the creek, as well as being blamed for attacking and killing many water buffaloes who stopped at the creek for a drink. After it was captured, the massive crocodile was kept in captivity because of the tourism it attracted to the otherwise unknown town. Lolong's death is being mourned in the Phillipines, however he won't need to be missed because he is being preserved and kept in a museum in order to maintain the tourism he attracted.

Competitive Eater Kobayashi Finishes Pizza in 60 Seconds

The Superbowl left us with many memorable moments- broken kickoff records, 30 minute power outages, all that fun stuff. But a worthy moment went unmentioned on national television when Takeru Kobayashi, a competitive eater known for his hot dog eating, finished a 12 inch pizza in under 60 seconds. Kobayashi was booked for the Superbowl party through his booking agency, and was payed a well-earned $3,250 for the heartfelt pizza-consuming performance. This record-breaking achievement demonstrates Kobayashi's true dedication too his competitive eating career. He beat his previous world record of finishing a pizza in 1 minute and 9.36 seconds, however the event was unofficial so doesn't count as a world record. After the pizza eating glory, Kobayashi and the bros at the Superbowl party had a beer chugging contest that unfortunately left his pizza achievement shadowed by defeat.

Matthew Todd was intoxicated when he crashed his car in Alabama last Friday. He was arrested for a DUI and taken to a hospital. There, he convinced hospital workers to let him leave the waiting room for a cigarette, and his escape attempt began. Matthew Todd jumped into an ambulance for a quick escape, but then got the vehicle stuck at the end of Bernard Street according to Police Chief Todd Addams. Matthew left the ambulance and entered a barn, where he unsuccessfully tried to saddle two horses. 24 year old Matthew Todd then stole another car and got away. He returned to the hospital the next day after the injuries from his original crash had started bleeding. There he was recognized to be the drunken auto-thief from the night before, and was arrested.

Charlie Brown Voice Actor Arrested

We all remember the TV "Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown", the episodes replayed every year to go along with the holidays. Peter Robbins was the voice actor representing our favorite chronically depressed cartoon character in these episodes. The 56 year old was arrested on Sunday charges that include stocking. Apparently  he also "made threats to cause death or great bodily injury". His manager has refused to comment. A US Customs and Border Protection Spokesman said that Robbins was arrested at the San Ysidro Port of entry, and a background check on Robbins yielded a warrant on him from the San Diego sherriff's department.

11 Year Old Killing Machine

At 11 years old, Mohammed Afar is a trained and equipped killing machine for the Free Syrian Army. He trains at a range with other fighters who compliment his shooting. "He is a great shot," his father says. "He is my little lion." Some groups fighting in Syria have been recruiting children for military and other purposes. The UN Conventions for the rights of children and the Geneva convention have provisions disallowing the use of combatants under the  age of 15. Many disprove of allowing children to fight, even if they volunteer themselves. Mohhamad's father sees little wrong with bringing his 11 year old son to the battle fields.
Mohhamed Afar says he doesn't miss going to school like most children his age, or even miss living with his mother and sisters. "I want to stay as a fighter until Bashar is killed."

That Rabid Llama

Rabid Pet Llama
An abnormally aggressive pet llama was noticed was noticed in Morganton, Georgia. Not only did it show violent attempts of spitting attacks, but the llama ferociously tried to bite itself and its caretakers. After being euthanized and brought to a lab on December 28, a veterinarian affirmed the llama to have an unfortunate case of the rabies. As we know, rabies is a serious disease to the extent that having contact with anything rabid should be concerning. The rabid pet llama managed to put four people in contact with the virus- mostly through means of spitting. One caretaker who was spat on is going through a rabies treatment. Another has decided that rabies treatment will be unneeded. Authorities haven't heard from the other two people expsed to the llama's  rabies.

Teacher Deaths in Swabi Protest Female Education

A group of motorcycle riding gunmen stopped a moving van near Islamabad. The van was carrying several employees of a community center; including five female teachers, two aid workers, and a child. The men chose to spare the child, taking him out of the van before spraying it with bullets. The five teachers and two workers were shot to death. The attack took place in the Khyber Pakhtunhwa province, where gun and bomb attacks have been being made against those working to educate women. These violent protests continue to be made in opposition to the cultural and societal changes involving women rights that are happening in the area.
